Machine Learning in the Control Plane of a Software Defined Network

Transmission rate, packet delay, and packet loss can be improved by using machine learning in a software-defined network. The results obtained in this work show that machine learning implemented in the control plane improves the performance of a network compared to OSPF routing algorithms or static routes.
