Survey on Mobility in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract
A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a special class of infrastructure-free network made up of several tiny sensors having an energy constraint, computation, and potential for communication. This article reviews suitable research focusing on mobility among various WSNs. Mobile wireless sensor networks (MWSNs) are becoming an increasingly powerful tool in a variety of applications, including habitat and environmental monitoring, traffic observation, battlefield surveillance, smart homes and smart cities. Energy-efficient MWSN operation is crucial in those applications, and numerous strategies have been put in place to maximize network longevity. This Review Research paper seeks to serve as a suggestion for further research on WSNs
