Distributed and Peer to Peer Voting System using Blockchain

Abstract
Blockchain-based distributed and peer-to-peer voting systems use decentralized technology to produce a secure, transparent, and tamper-resistant voting process. Blockchain’s immutable ledger, which logs every vote as a transaction across several nodes, eliminates the need for a centralized authority. A distinct cryptographic key is given to every voter, guaranteeing privacy and authentication while avoiding fraud or duplicate voting. The system ensures data integrity throughout the network by utilizing consensus processes like Proof of Work or Proof of Stake, which allows for real-time vote verification. Because no one entity can tamper with the outcomes, the decentralized structure of blockchain increases voter trust. In elections when high security and confidence are necessary, this method is especially beneficial since it offers a dependable substitute for conventional voting systems.
