Abstract
Advancements in Global Positioning System (GPS) technology have significantly transformed modern navigation systems, enhancing accuracy, reliability, and accessibility across various applications. Recent developments such as multi-constellation integration, realtime kinematic positioning, and improved satellite signal structures have minimized errors and enabled centimeter-level precision. These innovations have expanded the use of GPS beyond traditional navigation to sectors like autonomous vehicles, aviation, agriculture, disaster management, and wearable technologies. Additionally, the integration of GPS with emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence has enabled smarter, data-driven decision-making in real time. Enhanced anti-jamming and anti-spoofing capabilities have also strengthened system security and resilience. As GPS technology continues to evolve, it plays a critical role in shaping intelligent transportation systems and global connectivity. This paper explores recent advancements in GPS technology and examines their profound impact on the efficiency, safety, and functionality of modern navigation systems.
