Abstract

Significant hurdles in India, including limited technology access, lack of mentorship, and inconsistent training outcomes, hinder rural women’s digital literacy and job-specific skills, restricting their economic and social independence. This paper proposes a secure, AI-enabled platform designed to overcome these barriers. Featuring a multilingual chatbot, AI-driven passion recommender, and local opportunities map, it delivers personalized learning paths and job recommendations aligned with users’ interests and capacities. The platform highlights government/NGO initiatives and community courses while addressing low-bandwidth environments and prioritizing user-level privacy and security through offline-first experiences. Ultimately, it empowers rural women to leverage technology for career growth, digital inclusion, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.
