Abstract
Developing accessible and low-cost conversational systems remains an important challenge as voice-based technologies become increasingly integrated into everyday life. In this work, we introduce a fully functional AI voice assistant built in Python that combines both voice and text-based interaction to deliver seamless access to entertainment and sports information. The system brings together three publicly available, zero-cost APIs—OMDb for movies, Last.fm for music, and TheSportsDB for sports—to offer users a unified and intuitive information experience. Beyond information retrieval, the assistant is capable of managing files and navigating websites across platforms, while a lightweight JSON-based memory mechanism allows it to maintain context across conversations in a transparent and interpretable way.
