Voice Control IoT Home Automation using Bluetooth Module

Abstract

The approach presents the design of a low-cost Android-based home automation system making use of Bluetooth technology. The user can control home appliances through voice commands on an Android app. The system is built on Arduino Uno microcontroller, Bluetooth module (HC-06), and MIT App Inventor 2. For switching operations, it employs relays and Triacs. The system enables the users to operate appliances through Bluetooth or Google Assistant voice prompts, with an added feature to schedule automatic shutdowns within 12 hours, ensuring convenience and efficiency in home automation.
