Abstract

A novel secure architecture for decentralized cloud servers is proposed that integrates robust cryptographic mechanisms directly into its design to ensure confidentiality, integrity and authentication throughout the network. The proposed system employs a hierarchical Reverse Cone Topology (RCT) that incorporates asymmetric key exchanges and symmetric encryption with digital signatures at every communication link. The RCT is a single trusted control node at the base and progressively increasing numbers of servers in the upper layers. Through extensive Python-based simulation, RCT demonstrates superior performance with ultra-low latency, high throughput, minimal packet loss, and effective attack detection, outperforming traditional linear, tree and hybrid topologies. The integrated security and scalable topology present a future cloud, edge and IoT environment, with promising applications in real-time and industrial cloud systems.
