Abstract
Even the smallest of the smallest unnoticed water leaks contribute significantly to the wastage of precious water in our homes or industries. Traditional monitoring systems are often expensive, difficult to install, inaccurate, or require constant maintenance. To address this, a smart water leakage detection system- AQUASENSE, which can also effectively provide realtime insights into water flow using affordable IoT technology, is being considered. By measuring the flow at both inlets and outlets in a pipeline, the system can detect unusual usage patterns and, in turn, alert users to potential leaks immediately. Users are notified through an application interface, making it easy for them to track their water consumption and take corrective actions. This prototype can be effectively implemented for use in homes, apartment complexes, and industrial settings.
