EduLite: An AI-Enhanced Virtual Classroom Platform for Modern Education

Abstract
The rapid digitalization of education has exposed significant limitations in existing Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly in areas of learner engagement, personalization, and collaborative learning. This paper presents EduLite, a next-generation AIpowered virtual classroom platform designed to transcend the boundaries of conventional elearning systems such as Google Classroom and Moodle. EduLite integrates advanced artificial intelligence for personalized learning pathways, real-time engagement monitoring, and predictive analytics. The platform incorporates comprehensive features including adaptive video streaming, multilingual support, offline-first architecture, and gamified peer learning mechanisms. By implementing Adaptive Bitrate Streaming (ABR) via HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) protocol and leveraging FFmpeg for efficient video processing, EduLite ensures seamless accessibility even in low-bandwidth environments. The system employs machine learning algorithms for student behavior analysis, enabling early identification of at-risk learners and facilitating timely pedagogical interventions. Furthermore, EduLite introduces innovative breakout rooms for collaborative projects, an AI-powered doubt resolution system, and a sophisticated analytics dashboard for educators. This research demonstrates how intelligent integration of emerging technologies can create an inclusive, adaptive, and outcome-driven educational ecosystem that addresses the diverse needs of modern learners while maintaining operational efficiency across varying infrastructure conditions.
