Child Mental Health Monitoring through Telepsychiatry

The project Child Mental Health Monitoring through Telepsychiatry prime target of the telepsychiatry method. The system will develop a real-time emotion-detection intelligence system to assess as well as to monitor the mental health of children. The facial expressions of people captured in the videos and images are analysed using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques by generating heat maps, identifying markers, and classifying emotions selectively, such as smiles, neutral faces, and angry faces. Through the integration of telepsychiatry, the system becomes capable of remote psychological evaluation and continued observation of emotions, allowing the possibility to overcome geographical divisions. Emotionover- time curves make the process of understanding emotional patterns and the early signs of stress in children much easier for experts, and thus they can take preventive steps in time to help children build their mental strengths.
