A Review on AI-based Classification and Staging of MonkeyPox

Abstract
Monkeypox is a viral zoonotic disease, which is caused due to Mpox virus. It has become a serious issue in the world as it spreads quickly. Traditional methods for Mpox diagnosis are very time taking as well as costly. Hence, there is a need for an early and accurate detection of this disease as it also progresses through different rash stages. This research mainly focused on Image processing, machine learning and deep learning artificial intelligence method which helps to detect and classify Mpox rashes automatically. The review includes various AI-based algorithms for monkeypox detection and rash stage classification. The main objective of this review paper is to present studies of modern AI techniques over traditional methods for monkeypox detection and rash stage classification. This study will be helpful to new researchers for increasing accuracy of detection of Mpox virus in future.
