Review on Speech Synthesis from Lip Movements using Deep Neural Network

Speech synthesis using machine learning has received much attention in the past decades. Recent development in speech synthesis applications make use of deep learning techniques as it yields far better results when compared to others in variety of applications. The perception of speech signal is dependent on both acoustic and visual information. This paper is review of the current available databases, video and audio features for speech synthesis. In this paper, we describe speech reconstruction from lip movements based on deep neural network model. This paper also highlights the performance and limitations of available methods.
