Abstract

Enhancing smart cities through the Integration of artificial intelligence (AI) is a revolutionizing concept for sustainability and can also enhance living quality. The AI-integrated technologies can optimize dynamic traffic analysis and management, leading to significant measurable improvements in congestion reduction and traffic flow efficiency, alongside optimizing public waiting time management, and boosting public safety through advanced, predictive systems, all driven by real-time data analysis. This study, which employs a mixedmethods research approach that includes a systematic literature review and case study analysis to investigate real-world AI implementations, looks at the Important implications of integrating AI into the Development of smart cities. To guarantee proper AI integration, issues with data privacy, ethics, cybersecurity risks, and infrastructure needs are also covered. The study suggests necessary measures through rigid governance, policies, and ethical AI frameworks. This paper outlines the uses, advantages, and difficulties integrating AI into city modernization and emphasizes the chance to revolutionize intelligent urbanization. It offers significant insights for technology developers and policymakers to build AI-driven systems to enhance smart cities that are effective, safe, and focused on the needs and standard of living of their citizens.
