Abstract
As enterprises increasingly adopt multi-cloud architectures to capitalize on the distinct capabilities and services offered by multiple cloud providers, the need for robust cost optimization frameworks has become paramount. This research paper seeks to investigate and propose novel methodologies for cost optimization in multi-cloud ecosystems. The study will focus on critical dimensions such as dynamic resource provisioning, intelligent workload orchestration, and performance-aware optimization techniques, while incorporating factors like workload elasticity, service-level agreement (SLA) compliance, and heterogeneous pricing models across cloud vendors. The core objective is to develop adaptive, cost-efficient strategies that effectively balance operational expenditures (OpEx) and system performance in heterogeneous, distributed cloud environments. The findings aim to enable enterprises to make data-driven, strategic decisions in their multi-cloud deployments, enhancing both cost-efficiency and service reliability. This research addresses the growing demand for advanced multi-cloud solutions, offering significant contributions to the domains of cloud resource management, cost governance, and cloud-native optimization techniques—all of which are increasingly critical for organizations seeking to maximize the value of cloud computing.
