Abstract

The development of Automatic Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) has advanced to the forefront of automotive innovation due to the unwavering quest of safer roads and improved driving experiences. In this, the computational capability of the COMSOL Multiphysics tool and the integration of LiDAR sensor technologies are used to design and implement an Automatic Driving Assistant System (ADAS). LiDAR sensors are a crucial part of contemporary autonomous driving systems because of their reputation for high-resolution mapping and real-time environmental monitoring. The suggested ADAS improves vehicle perception, navigation, and decision-making by utilizing the rich data from LiDAR sensors. Real-time obstacle recognition and avoidance, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation are all included in the developed ADAS. Because of the LiDAR sensor’s great precision and quick data collection, accurate mapping of the immediate surroundings, enabling the ADAS to respond quickly to changing traffic situations. Engineers are thus able to simulate and optimize the ADAS performance under various environmental situations thanks to the interaction with COMSOL Multiphysics, guaranteeing its efficacy across a range of terrains and weather conditions. Comprehensive simulations and real- world testing scenarios demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed ADAS, showing notable enhancements in vehicle safety, efficiency, and overall driving pleasure. This creates new opportunities for the advancement of sophisticated autonomous driving technologies, leading to the development of more dependable and safe modes of transportation.
