NutriCalc - Image based Nutrients Detector for Indian Food Items

This work proposes a specialized CNN for accurate classification of diverse Indian food images, integrated with a nutritional database for real-time dietary analysis. Manual tracking is error-prone, and existing AI systems often underperform on Indian cuisine due to dataset limitations. NutriCalc, an end-to-end deep learning system, addresses this by using a custom CNN trained on 100,000+ images across 120 Indian food categories. The system features a Flask backend and a multilingual web interface supporting text, voice, and image inputs for improved accessibility.
