Design and NVH Analysis of Disc Brake System

Noise, vibration and Harshness (NVH) also known as noise and vibration is the study and modification of the noise and vibration characteristics of automobile vehicles particularly cars and trucks. Automobile noise is a problem which is related to the characteristics of geometric design. Squeals and other high frequency noises in various names have been a major concern in the design of the automobiles. In this Analysis, the Disc Brake Rotor is modeled using Catia and Modal analysis of Disc Brake rotor with some rotational velocity and Harmonic response of the Disc Brake rotor with some force acting and finally thermal analysis of the disc brake rotor with some temperature applied by using the silicon carbide as the material.
