Abstract

Taking into consideration the importance of cloud computing for sustainable development and the Indian scenario with increasing investment in public healthcare, the paper presents a framework of Rule-Based Fuzzy logic for implementing Disease and Risk prediction integrated Electronic Health Record (DRiP EHR). As it is always said, prevention is better than cure, this is what the study aimed to deliver. The framework stresses the importance of implementing EHR and uses a novel approach of considering the severeness of symptoms for the identification of disease and predicting its percentage risk. This developed framework can be used as a CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System) by a practitioner which can help him make accurate data-driven decisions and can help the policy makers frame policies for further EHR implementation in the country and be helpful in providing low-cost quality healthcare services across the country.
