MP Detector: Intelligent Medicinal Plant Recognition using Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Abstract

A groundbreaking approach aimed at revolutionizing plant identification, particularly in Ayurveda. Medicinal plants are fundamental resources in Ayurveda, emphasizing the need for accurate identification in medicine preparation. However, manual identification is labor-intensive and crucial for ensuring medicinal effectiveness and safety. Current challenges include adulteration and a lack of trust in the supply chain. This study implements image processing through machine learning technologies for automated, real-time plant recognition. By leveraging machine learning algorithms, this innovative solution enhances identification processes, ensuring the authenticity and safety of Ayurvedic treatments.
