Abstract
Emotion detection by voice, needed for human-computer interaction (HCI), is an emerging field that leverages advanced machine learning techniques and audio processing to identify human emotional states from vocal cues. This technology is capable of distinguishing various emotions by analyzing audio features like pitch, tone, intensity, and speech rate. Emotion-oriented systems can revolutionize industries such as healthcare, customer service, and interactions between people and computers by improving empathy and personalizing answers. This paper explores the design, development, and application of an emotion detection system using voice data, presenting technical challenges, solutions, and the societal implications of integrating emotion recognition into everyday technologies.
