Abstract
The â€Gesture Voice Hybrid Interface†project aims to revolutionize humancomputer interaction by integrating hand gestures and voice commands to replace traditional input devices like keyboards and mice. By leveraging a simple webcam and advanced technologies such as OpenCV, MediaPipe, and Python, the system enables real-time gesture recognition and tracking, allowing users to perform standard computing tasks like moving the cursor, clicking, and scrolling using intuitive hand move- ments. This approach eliminates the reliance on physical devices, offering a wireless and more natural alternative to conventional input methods. Beyond improving user experience, this interface also addresses accessibility challenges, providing a hands-free solution for individuals with disabilities or limited mobility. By combining gesture control and voice commands, it creates a more inclusive and engaging way to interact with technology. Ultimately, the Gesture Voice Hybrid Interface represents a significant advancement in human-computer interaction, offering a seamless, device independent, and efficient alternative for users across various applications, from basic desktop navigation to more complex use cases in gaming, virtual reality, and assistive technologies.
