Trust-Based Energy Optimization for Data Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

A wireless sensor network is made up of several sensor nodes that can come and go from the network as they choose. Sensor networks are implemented in remote locations and are tiny in size. Energy consumption thus emerges as the primary concern of WSN. Because sensor nodes have limited energy, the data, which is collected from the targeted environment, is sent straight to the main station. The data sent by different sensor nodes is received by the sink node. By identifying and removing similarities between the data from various sensor nodes, the decision-making process is implemented. Additionally, the sink deploys the acquired data locally and sends it to the networks that are executing it.
