Agriculture Parameters Monitoring System using IoT

Abstract
The introduction of technology into crop management has transformed modern agriculture. However, this paper presents an IoT-based agricultural system with respect to the condition of soil moisture, temperature, and humidity in growing tomato crops. Thus, the proposed system utilizes sensor devices that are connected to the ESP32-based microcontroller and feeds the real-time information into a mobile application for remote crop management. This study presents the capability of the system in optimizing water usage for achieving good crop yields through proper irrigation and minimum human intervention, among other benefits of sustainable farming practices.
