Transforming Career Counseling through Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education

The following paper seeks to analyze course careers amongst advanced secondary scholars and graduates and the dilemmas that they are bound to face in vocation choice. Increasingly, people get stranded in occupations that are different from those they initially trained to pursue, this mainly because they receive unsuitable career advice during their learning years. These are important currencies and an area of discussion in the field of CS and AI since those systems work fairly well in mimicking subject matter experts across various kinds of work and are adapted in emulating man interaction with varying levels of accura-cy. But, to the knowledge of the authors, there is little literature regarding how AI can be used to provide advice for higher education learners and employees. This paper also prof-fers innovations in artificial intelligence in improving and broadening the procedure for career counselling in technologically progressive institutions of higher learning. It begins by stating that one area of focus with regards to career issues and concerns is career guidance and counseling then it goes further to discuss on how different technologies can be useful in addressing these issues. Furthermore, necessary work done in this field up to the vast level is taught in more critically. Last but not least, the difficulties and questions which arose during the given survey are also considered. Therefore, this paper provides indications of possible research in this area of interest, to invite the attention of the research community.
