Abstract
The cloud computing's quick adoption has many advantages, such as costeffectiveness, scalability, and flexibility. It has, however, also brought forward serious security issues that need to be resolved in order to safeguard private information and preserve user confidence. The main security risks connected to cloud storage, such as data breaches, insider threats, and problems with data integrity, are thoroughly examined in this paper. It also looks at different encryption approaches used to reduce these dangers, including homomorphic encryption, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, and sophisticated key management strategies. The study takes into account the performance and operational overhead that certain encryption techniques bring, as well as how well they work in resolving particular security issues. This research attempts to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of cloud security and the future options for improving data protection in cloud environments by examining both the difficulties and the associated encryption solutions.
