Abstract

Agriculture, the foundation of human civilization, is undergoing a revolutionary revolution, fueled by advances in artificial intelligence (AI). This study investigates AI's crucial role in defining the future of farming, providing solutions to issues such as climatic variability, resource optimization, and rising global food consumption. The combination of AI technologies, such as machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and predictive analytics, has enabled precision agriculture, improved crop monitoring, and yield prediction. The study emphasizes real-time decision-making using AI-driven tools, such as smart irrigation systems and autonomous machinery, to promote sustainable farming practices. It also dives into the importance of artificial intelligence in pest control, supply chain optimization, and soil health monitoring. Despite its transformative potential, the use of AI in agriculture is hampered by issues such as data scarcity, high implementation costs, and farmers' requirement for technological literacy. This study continues by discussing future trends, such as the creation of hybrid AI models, integration with IoT and blockchain, and the democratization of AI technologies for smallholder farmers. The findings highlight AI's ability to transform farming operations, making them more productive, sustainable, and robust in the face of global issues.
