Performance Analysis of Multi-Operand 4-Bit Adders

Abstract
In order to meet the growing requirement for computing systems that are efficient, a study of the problem of creating a multi-operand adder that can process many operands is required. The work involves a thorough examination of multiple adder architectures, closely examining their underlying properties such as area efficiency, power consumption, and latency. This paper presents a new strategy that uses a Carry Save Adder (CSA) to divide the addition process into discrete steps, which optimizes the process and reduces the drawbacks of using traditional techniques such as the Ripple Carry Adder (RCA). In order to shed light on the trade-offs between these approaches, the suggested analysis includes a detailed examination of the design's performance in Verilog at both the behavioral and Register-Transfer Level (RTL) abstraction levels.
