Abstract

Agile is a project management methodology widely accepted in all IT industries as it is highly adaptable and flexible based on the type of the project. It is considered to be an effective way to carry out a project. Agile development's explosive growth is a result of its capacity to handle complicated issues and ease the switch from conventional approaches. A lack of adoption guidelines is caused by the fact that no single agile technique can be used in every organisation. Some of the most popular agile development methodologies are based on the basics of the software engineering framework and incorporate aspects of well-known techniques including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Extreme programming, Less, Spotify Agile, Nexus, Scrum of Scrums, and Disciplined Agile. Organizations can construct software development methodologies based on shared knowledge or common ground by using the Essence of Software Engineering framework. In this paper, a common strategy adopted for industries is discussed and a comparative study is performed and explained on the various agile scaling approaches.
