Real-Time Energy Monitoring and Automation System using ESP32 and IoT

Abstract
This paper presents a novel design for an integrated energy monitoring and automation system, tailored for smart home applications. The system utilizes a current sensor along with an ESP32 microcontroller to monitor energy consumption and incorporates a PIR sensor for automated light control based on room occupancy. Energy data is logged and analyzed in real time using ThingSpeak, offering a simple yet effective platform for data acquisition and visualization.
