Abstract

A Decentralized Social Media Network is platform that operates on a distributed system of nodes rather than a central server. It utilizes technologies such as block-chain and peer to peer network to enable data security, privacy and user control over the data. This system offers users to communicate and share information anonymously, while also promoting free speech and resistance to censorship and surveillance. Compared to traditional centralized social media platforms, a decentralized social media networks offers a more democratic and user-driven alternative that priorities the security, privacy, and freedom of expression for its users. One of the key benefits of decentralized social media network is the increased security and privacy it provides. Since the network is distributed across multiple nodes, there is no single point of failure or central authority that can be hacked or compromised. In addition, users have greater control over their data and can choose which information to share and with whom.
