Blockchain based Counterfeit Product Identification and Registration Application

Abstract
In recent years, industries that make products have become increasingly prone to counterfeit items. This phenomenon has an impact on the businesses' sales and profits. The adoption of a functional block chain technology ensures the identification of genuine products across the supply chain while combating product counterfeiting. Customers who use blockchain technology can accurately ascertain the origin of the purchased item without relying on guessing the trustworthiness of third parties. The data is "tamper-resistant" in any application that uses block chain technology as its primary building block. Given that a block chain is a decentralized, distributed, and digital ledger that preserves public transactional information, known as blocks, in several databases, known as chains, over numerous networks. As a result, changing any relevant block in advance necessitates changing every block after that. This study uses a QR code to identify counterfeit goods and links that barcode to a BlockChain Based Management (BCBM) system. Quick response (QR) codes offer a promising method for combating the practice of counterfeiting in this project, especially in view of recent developments in wireless and mobile technologies
