Abstract
Nowadays various Deep learning techniques are used to make computers learn and work with representations of images. One of the important tasks in this respect is learning the similarity between two given images. This can be accomplished using Siamese Neural Network, which finds the similarity score of the given image pair. In this paper the focus is on the Siamese Convolutional Neural Network (Siamese CNN) for the purpose of face verification. The Siamese network ranks similarity between a pair of samples. It uses twin Neural networks, in this case twin Convolutional Neural Networks (for Siamese CNN). The One-Shot learning feature of the Siamese CNN makes it highly efficient against many machine learning and deep learning methods
