A Review on Image-based Geolocation

Abstract
This work provides a comprehensive review of image-based geolocation techniques using deep neural networks. The rapid growth of digital images has made image-based geolocation a popular research area in computer vision. The review introduces the concept of image-based geolocation, followed by an overview of deep neural networks and their applications in geolocation. The work then provides a detailed analysis of the existing literature on image-based geolocation techniques, including their advantages, limitations, and challenges. This review also highlights recent advancements in deep neural network-based geolocation techniques and discusses their potential applications in various fields such as urban planning, transportation, and tourism. Finally, the work outlines future research directions that could enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of image-based geolocation using deep neural networks
