Abstract
In this study, a food identification system is proposed that predicts images using a Convolution Neural Network (CNN) as a basis model, then delivers nutrition information, such as calories, for the provided single food image. Maintaining a balanced diet is made easier by being aware of the nutritional value of the food being consumed. The piece is divided into two sections. First, the model is trained and improved using CNN, a cutting-edge model utilizing TensorFlow 2.0. CNN is used because the convolution layers are flexible and simple to use. Second, adding GUI features and nutrition analysis to the model. including categories for popular Indian foods into the FOOD-101 dataset. With a mean accuracy of 85% in both the regular FOOD-101 dataset and the extended version, the model performed remarkably well. The current model uses an obsolete and ineffective CNN approach to predict the outcome of the given image
