Abstract

Malware has become an increasingly widespread security hazard to the internet in today's society. Malware is any harmful program that is designed to cause harm to the user. Malware analysis is critical for detecting, comprehending, and limiting the impacts of harmful software. It uses software and designs to attack weaknesses in computer systems, steal important information, and harm the system or network. It informs us about the features of malware such as viruses, worms, Trojans, and so on. Dynamic analysis and static analysis are the two divisions of malware analysis. The purpose of this research is to gain knowledge about the methods and techniques for analyzing and detecting malware effectively. In addition, this research discusses the various methodologies and types of software that are used in malware analysis
