Abstract
Cyber-attacks can be extremely dangerous for not only organizations, but the nation too. These attacks if not controlled at early stages will have a severe impact on the economy. The increase in the number of attacks has made security measures mandatory. They include personal information, property, government information theft, Denial of Service, Infrastructure damage etc. This paper aims at Identifying potential vulnerabilities in a web facing entity and suggesting recommendations or patches to fix it. The main reason and goal of the project is to improvise web apps security before it is deployed and made available for public use. The user / developer can use and perform automated scans to detect possible vulnerabilities, store detailed information obtained from them for further analysis and also suggest possible countermeasures if within scope. This aims to help a non-security person or a very small startup with minimal knowledge on security practices to detect presence of vulnerabilities in their product and mitigate them before a hacker takes advantage of vulnerability by exploiting the same. This serves more like a pre-deployment tool
