Monitoring and Estimation of Phasor Angle of PMU Signals using LabVIEW-DFT Methods

Synchronized Phasor Measurement Unit becomes a part of wide-area measurement system which apply in modern power systems for measurement and control application. Realtime virtual PMU which measures the various signal is designed in LabVIEW and estimates the value of phase of signals by Digital Fourier Transform (DFT) recursive and non-recursive methods. The phasor value collected from polar plot is used to analyse the health condition of the power system and used to compare various sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal signals.
