A Detail Study on Content-based Image Retrieval for Enhancing Cloud Security

There has been a huge increase in the amount of data produced by many resources, including digital photos, movies, and scientific instruments and simulations. The use of social media and the internet is growing daily. Hence there is a need for cloud Technology to store the data and use these data whenever required. Effective information retrieval from this enormous amount of data is absolutely necessary. The enormous increase in image volume and the widespread use of image are led to the improvement of CBIR in numerous fields. Most of the existing methods are not good enough to preserve the privacy of the image. This paper focuses on the recent attacks as well as common attacks in the cloud. Different categories of CBIR as been discussed in this paper. This paper proposes a new cloud based CBIR architecture to preserve image privacy.
