Abstract
The performance analysis of speed control in BLDC Motor using arduino PWM technique is carried out in this paper. PWM technique is most widely practiced strategy in controlling the speeds of motor as it has the advantages of consuming low power, can utilize high frequency, high power handling capability and less noise interference. At the same time BLDC motors are considered for its high energy efficient operation and less maintenance. Pulse width modulation works by varying the motor pulses ON-OFF by adjusting the duty cycle for a fixed high frequency signal. Hence in this paper PWM controller algorithm in microcontroller’s digital outputs is implemented to the three phase inverter to regulate the speed in BLDC motor in open loop control without making the system complex. The speed control model was performed in both Hardware circuit and (MATLAB/Simulink) software, and the results were analyzed and recorded.
