Abstract
Plant diseases have an impact on the growth of their particular species, hence early detection is critical. Many Machine Learning (ML) models have been used to identify and classify plant diseases, but with developments in a subset of ML, Deep Learning (DL), this field of research looks to have considerable potential in terms of increasing accuracy. Many developed/modified DL architectures, as well as various visualisation approaches, are used to identify and categorise the signs of plant diseases. Furthermore, numerous performance indicators are utilised to assess these architectures/techniques. This article gives a thorough overview of the DL models that are used to visualise various plant diseases.
