Comparative Analysis of basic Sequential Circuits based on CMOS and Graphene Nano Ribbon Transistors

Abstract
The Graphene Nano Ribbon Field Effect Transistor (GNRFET) based sequential Circuits like D Flip-Flop and counters are presented in this paper. Further, the circuits are also designed using different techniques like the TSPC and PTL. Circuits are simulated using the industry standard HSPICE simulation tool and using SPICE compatible compact model of GNRFET. Simulation results show that GNRFET has a great potential in sequential circuits. Between the two architectures of the GNR implementations, the PTL based circuits are more efficient since, they exhibit better performance.
