Abstract
When the characteristic equation of a matrix has distinct roots, the technique of
Faddeev-Sominsky determines the characteristic vectors (eigenvectors) corresponding to the
roots. In this article, we demonstrate how to construct the eigenvectors linked to an eigenvalue
with multiplicity using Gower's approach.
