Abstract
Virtual Reality (VR) in the present world, has materialized its self as an evolutionary
technology, that can bring about innovative solutions in different domains. In the domain of
tourism, a 3D-virtual tourist guide will enable individuals to immerse themselves in new
experiences and engage in new locations virtually, with added insights from the tour guide. It also
employs intelligent Assistance that facilitates free flow language hence enriching the User
satisfaction and ease of use by enhancing user interaction. The natural language interactions
mirror real world communication and as such solidify user engagement and understanding
during these virtual tours. The aim is to bring VR to a more accessible level by artificially
constructing a scenario which is understandable by people, providing intelligent voice that
responds naturally through speech and also receiving human speaking. The process of designing
and implementing the 3D virtual environment integrated with a guide Assistance having speech
recognition and synthesis abilities, is the main emphasis of this study.
