Abstract
Nowadays, smartphones are popular, cost-effective, portable, Internet-connected
technology devices. In the modern era, smartphones have become essential, particularly for
students in universities. It is currently utilized as a multipurpose one-stop centre. Students are
use mobile phones to organize meetings and schedules, participate in online classes, make
conference video calls with friends and family, examine course materials on their phones, and set
up online meetings through Skype. Smartphone usage has reached endless levels. Along with it,
smartphone addiction has become undesirable. There doesn't seem to be any significant
connection between smartphone addiction measurements and actual behavior collected on
smartphones. Smartphone addiction is a type of impulsive disorder carried on excessive,
uncontrolled smartphone utilize, it is seen by many researchers as one of the main issues of the
twenty-first century. Despite the fact that numerous studies have examined the links between
smartphone use and academic success, the results of many of these studies have been inconsistent.
Hence, this work presents an investigation of smart-phone addiction with life satisfaction as a
prediction effect of eyes and psychological health problems. This investigation examines at the
relationship between perceived stress in life, satisfaction with life, and hedonic smartphone use
(entertainment, social media, gaming) in the smartphone addiction.
