Abstract
An essential component of this age-old medicinal approach is the identification of
ayurvedic plant leaves. It helps to preserve medicinal plants and guarantees the security and
effectiveness of treatments. Ayurvedic plant leaf identification will become increasingly
important as more people resort to alternative and natural medicines. Machine learning-based
Ayurvedic plant leaf identification is a novel technique that could completely change Ayurvedic
medicine practices. Accurately identifying and categorising plant species can aid in improved
disease control and treatment. To overcome these obstacles and guarantee the precision and
dependability of the outcomes, more research and development in this area is necessary.
Ayurveda has the potential to flourish and support individuals in leading healthier, more
balanced lives by combining ancient knowledge with modern technologies. An important step
towards updating this antiquated medical system is the use of CNNs for Ayurvedic plant leaf
identification. It encourages the use of conventional medicinal herbs while also facilitating a
quicker and more precise identification process. It is anticipated that CNN accuracy in detecting
leaves from medicinal plants will only increase with additional technological improvements and
the availability of high-quality photos. There is no doubt that this will help the Ayurvedic
community and help to preserve this important knowledge for upcoming generations. Here we
work on Realtime images.
