Abstract

This research introduces a novel college website designed to empower students in their educational journey, utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Tailwind CSS for an intuitive and responsive user experience. At its core, the initiative focuses on the creation of mentor-led groups, where proficient students mentor their peers in specialized areas. The formation of these groups is carefully regulated to prevent ad-hoc structures, ensuring quality engagement and purposeful learning communities. Administered by administrators and advised by faculty members, these mentor-led groups provide an immersive, hands-on learning environment. Supported by PHP on the backend, an effective mentorship system facilitates responsive feedback mechanisms, fostering a vibrant educational ecosystem. The platform encompasses three distinct user roles: Admin, Mentor, and Student. While students, including mentors, engage in collaborative learning, mentors take on additional responsibilities by leading groups and contributing to a comprehensive project repository. Central to the platform is a stringent verification process, ensuring the credibility and quality of mentor-led groups before their formation. This research project outlines the methodologies employed in platform development, emphasizing technological choices, addressing challenges faced, and elucidating the system architecture. The project contributes to collaborative learning by combining technological innovation with a carefully regulated mentorship system, providing a dynamic and adaptive educational environment for students, mentors, and administrators alike. Security considerations are integral, ensuring the privacy and integrity of user data, especially during the mentor verification process. In conclusion, this project serves as a noteworthy advancement in collaborative learning, providing a comprehensive solution to identified educational gaps.
