Abstract
The "Gas Detection Using IoT" project represents a pivotal advancement in safety
and environmental monitoring by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology into gas
detection systems. Traditional gas detection methods are often constrained by their limited realtime
monitoring capabilities, slow response times, and lack of centralized data management. This
project addresses these challenges by leveraging IoT's capabilities to create a robust and efficient
gas detection system. The key components of the proposed system include strategically placed
IoT enabled gas sensors, a secure communication protocol for sensor-to-server data transmission,
cloud-based analytics for real-time data processing, and a user-friendly interface accessible
through web or mobile applications. These elements work synergistically to establish a
comprehensive, responsive, and centralized gas detection infrastructure.
