Abstract
Corporate sustainability and stakeholder engagement are pivotal as they help
companies address various social and environmental challenges to maintain long-term
sustainability. This paper solely focuses on the connections between corporate sustainability
and stakeholder engagement by demonstrating the numerous strategies and techniques that
three prominent companies: ITC, Infosys, and TATA Motors use to successfully engage with
their stakeholders and incorporate sustainability into their core business practices. ITC's
Sustainability 2.0 strategy, Infosys's investor engagement efforts, and TML's dedication to
societal well-being are some of the prominent initiatives. Proper stakeholder participation is
very important in ensuring the effective implementation of sustainability projects in companies.
Corporate sustainability is still evolving, and this paper puts forward some recommendations
on how to enhance corporate sustainability in the Indian scenario.
