Abstract
Elections are the cornerstone of democracy and government. The electoral system
has essentially undergone a number of changes during the past few decades. The world's largest
majority rule nation, India, still uses secret ballot voting (SBV) or electronic voting machines
(EVM) for its elections. Voter fraud is more likely because the present procedure only reviewed
identifying documents. This project intends to design a computerized voting system to make
voting more convenient and secure. Most people choose not to vote because they dislike having
to wait in line or travel to polling stations. Voters who are all ineligible may also cast false
ballots, which can lead to a great deal of issues. The whole web infrastructure allows people to
cast their ballots from anywhere in the world. This tactic could help reduce the amount of
money the government spends on elections.
